Coastal Resin Workshop | Sunday, September 27 at Luxe Bar & Bistro
Join us for a creative morning at Luxe Bar & Bistro and design your own one-of-a-kind Lowcountry-inspired resin art!
For this hands-on workshop, I’ll be creating a variety of coastal shapes using my laser engraver—think crabs, sand dollars and other Lowcountry favorites—and you’ll get to choose how you want to bring yours to life using UV resin.
Unlike traditional resin that can take hours or even days to fully cure, UV resin cures quickly under UV light, allowing us to create, cure and continue designing during the workshop. Depending on the size and detail of your designs, you may even have time to complete two or more pieces!
Go coastal with a beautiful ocean-wave design, create something soft and botanical with real pressed flowers, add shells and beach-inspired accents, experiment with color—or combine techniques to make something completely your own.
This workshop is all about learning the basics of UV resin while giving you plenty of creative freedom to design your pieces your way.

- The basics of working safely and successfully with UV resin
- How to tint, pour and cure UV resin
- How to create a beautiful ocean-wave effect
- Techniques for creating white waves, cells and movement
- How to incorporate real pressed flowers
- How to add shells, sand and other coastal embellishments
- Tips for layering colors, resin and decorative elements
- How to use UV light to cure your creation between layers
- Finishing techniques for a beautiful, polished piece
🐚 Your Registration Includes:
- Your choice of available laser-cut Lowcountry-inspired wooden pieces
- UV resin and pigments
- Real pressed flowers
- Shells, sand and other coastal embellishments
- Use of UV curing lights and all necessary tools
- Step-by-step, hands-on instruction
- At least one completed resin creation to take home—with the possibility of creating two or more if time allows!
The number of pieces completed will depend on the designs and techniques you choose. More detailed or heavily layered designs may take longer, while simpler pieces may allow you to create several during our two-hour workshop.

You’ll have access to a variety of materials and inspiration while still having the freedom to create something that reflects your own style.

No resin experience is necessary.
We’ll work through the process together step-by-step, from your first pour through curing and finishing. Because we’re working with UV resin, you’ll get to see your creation come together quickly rather than waiting until after class for it to cure.
